1. Two Speeches
- Read the two speeches (Obama and Chinese President Hu)
- Complete the questions on the final page of the speech packet.
- Take a photo and upload to Assignment #19
- What do you believe to be the three most important issues that influence the relationship between the United States and China?
- In your paragraph be sure to do the following:
- Identify 3 issues important to the relationship between the two countries
- Explains/Analyzes both the US AND Chinese perspectives on these issues
- Provides at least one quote from the President Obama speech and at least one quote from the President Hu speech. Be sure to analyze the meaning of the quote in your own words.
- Begins with a topic sentence that identifies the three issues you believe to be most important.
- Ends with a summation that clearly sums up the main point of the paragraph (3 issues).
- Has been proofread and edited for errors
