- Trade Imbalance
- Def: When a country imports from a country more than it exports to a country

- Tariff
- Def: a tax on imported products (to make those products more expensice compared to home made products)
- Significance: China uses high tariffs to give to advantage to Chinese made products in China.

- Def: World Trade Organization - sets the rules for global trade
- Significance: China has been more willing to follow the rules set by the WTO, and be more cooperative.
